Love this pub. Bar staff are great and always a good atmosphere.
Beautiful rooms. Comfy bed and a shower that I could stay in for hours. Really enjoyed our stay there. Although there was a mix-up with our booking from our side, the owner/manager (Susan) was so helpful and accommodating which we really appreciated. Would certainly go back there.
I've been drinking in the White Hart for years. Always a great atmosphere, friendly staff, very clean & tidy. The rooms upstairs are really nice.

I personally don't go out often in dumfries,but when I do I love going to the white heart,love the old style building with the biggest welcome,it's such a warm atmosphere+cosy warm building,spotless glasses+the cider from there pumps actually feel so clean when drinking+the staff are second to none,so friendly+welcoming,i need to say this as it's a rarity to find such a little treasure in dumfries

First impressions old pub old rooms friendly greeting . Central location and surprisingly quiet except for sea chicken chorus in the morning . Breakfast fantastic ,bed didn't want to get up and powerful shower liked my stay and Sue the owner ran me to the station when I couldn't get a taxi . Gave me all I wanted for my stay and although not a 5 star hotel it was worth every bit of the 5 star rating I gave it

Booked this for a cheap one night stover whilst at a squash competition. Environment was not the best and music was quite loud but room was spotless and had everything I needed. Biggest surprise was when I got organized to leave and discovered breakfast was included. Breakfast was perfect. Classic fry up but perfectly executed and top quality ingredients.
